 Charon is the name of the ferryman from Greek Mythology whom used to carry the dead souls over the river og Styx
Charon Marionettetheater is set for children all the way down to the age of 4, but also for adult and elderly perople. Being a Marionettetheater is a form for puppetshow, and therefore the puppets play an escensiall part of the show.
The dolls are made by Nelleke herself, an art which she learned from Don and Ly Vermeire, whom in their younger years owned an rather larger theater in Den Haag. The next years she worked with Herman Hoebe, and when she turned 20 she established her own theater and to this day she still does shows both in Norway and in Holland.
Charon does only play a theater at a time. This year she has selected " The Firebird"
